Supplies for pipeline construction
Safety for humans and machines: A reliable, durable connection between pipeline and valve or between two pipes is essential for the safety of the application. After all, a defective connection could cause serious damage. Thus, choosing the right high-quality connection and supplies for pipelines and container construction is crucial. Also, care is required when assembling the pipeline. That's why NieRuf offers only high-quality fittings, connections, seals and flanges.
There are two basic types of connections in pipeline construction. Either, valves and pipeline are connected using flanges, or using threads (internal or external threads). No matter which connection type you go for, supplies for pipeline constructions come in useful. Siphons can be used in a variety of applications and help to release and control pressure in both containers and pipelines.
Equipment: Flanges and flange gaskets for flange applications
Pipelines that are connected by flanges and valves that need to be flanged, require a flange gasket. Otherwise, the media could leak and damage the surroundings. Flanges can be connected with the pipeline using a thread or welding. Two flanges can then be connected using the pre-drilled holes, screws and nuts. All flanges and holes are made according to EN1092-1. NieRuf offers a variety of flanges in different nominal sizes, screws and nuts of all sizes as well as matching washers.
Thread fittings, cross fitting, t-fitting, angles and nipples
Which pipeline needs which screw? With pipelines that are connected using an internal or external thread, a variety of screw connections can be used. No matter which one you choose, a teflon sealing tape should be added. Classically, a screw connection with two internal threads or a double nipple with two external threads is used to connect two pipelines. A plug can be used to shut off the end of the pipeline.
Angles are used to change the direction of the pipeline by 45° or 90°. A t-fitting can be implemented to connect three pipes, while using a cross-fitting allows you to connect four pipes. The reduction nipple has two external threads, which allows you to change the connection size (nominal size), thereby enabling you to connect e.g. a ½“ pipe with a ¾“ pipe. The reducing fitting can be used in the same way as the reduction nipple, but comes with one internal and one external thread. A pipe fitting with two external threads can be used to extend a pipeline.
