A membrane valve is a control valve that has some special features thanks to the internal membrane. For example, it is suitable for highly viscous media or aggressive chemical applications. The medium only comes into contact with the membrane and the valve body, all the mechanical parts are beneath the membrane and thus are protected from the medium. This is a valve type with low dead space, which is easy to clean and does not allow deposits, thereby preventing cross-contamination. The valves of series MB01 are available with casing material or either PP, PVC-U or PVDF. The valves of series MB02 are made from high quality stainless steel. Thanks to these materials, the valves can also be used in chemically aggressive applications, e.g. in the pharmaceuticals industry, hygiene and sterile technology, or the chemicals industry. The valves can be also be used in biotechnology, the drinks industry and the food sector, however, as well as in sludge, powder or paint processing. The valves can be made either with an internal thread, with adhesive/weld sleeve, adhesive/weld end nozzles, DIN or ANSI flanges.
