FAQ-Product
The lowest throughput we can record with our measuring instruments is that at 30mbar
No, this is not possible. The vacuum breakers must be operated in a vertical installation position (connection below).
We have two different vent valves in our product range. The type VB01/VB03 is fixed, opens at a pressure of -6mbar and thus prevents the formation of a vacuum/vacuum. The pressure of -6mbar cannot be changed. With the types VB02/VB04 there is the possibility to allow a certain vacuum and to open only in the range between -100mbar and -800mbar. These valves can be preset to a specified pressure and sealed at the factory for an additional charge. The setting can also be made by the customer. Instructions are available on request.
In the event of a vacuum, the opening on the side of the vent valves pulls air from the environment into the tank and thus prevents the vacuum. Due to the thread "attached" to this thread, it is possible, for example, to use clean/filtered air from a separate container in the case of sensitive media in the tank/container in order to prevent possible reactions or contamination.
As standard, these vacuum breakers are delivered freely adjustable. However, we can also preset them for an extra charge and seal them accordingly.
