A socket is used in many areas to connect diverse components. The pipe socket, as the name suggests, is used to connect pipes. However, it can also be used to connect fittings, for example. safety valves, pressure reducers or solenoid valves or other components such as pumps, in a pipe system. The pipe socket comprises either a bilateral adhesive sleeve or a unilateral adhesive sleeve and an female thread. The NieRuf online shop offers pipe connection sockets made from stainless steel 316 with female thread in the nominal widths 1/8“ – 2 ½“ inches. The PVC plastic sockets are available with female thread in the nominal widths 1/4" - 2" or with adhesive sleeve in d20 - d63.
