A sleeved non-return valve serves to prevent reflux in a pipe system. It is characterised by very high KV values thanks to its T design. The valve almost completely frees the passage through the fitting so that only very low flow resistances occur. However, it is essential that the flow direction and the installation location are noted. The flow direction is shown on the sleeved non-return valve with an arrow. The flow through the fitting may only be horizontal or vertical from bottom to top. Depending on the mode, the threaded non-return valves are available in brass (CW 617 N) or high quality stainless steel 1.4408. Both variants also have a metal seal, the brass variant is also available with an EPDM seal. The sleeved non-return valves are available in nominal widths ¼“ – 2“ inches. The connection is via a cylindrical BSP internal thread. The maximum pressure is 16 bar, the temperature range for the brass non-return valve is 0°C to +90°C and for the stainless steel non-return valve -20°C to max. +200°C.
